Manipur Cultural Centre

Location : Gurugram

Built-up Area : 60,000 Sq.ft

The Manipur Cultural Center spans across 60,000 sq. ft., rooted in the rich cultural heritage of Manipur, the design of the Cultural Center emerges as a contemporary tribute to tradition. The architecture is grounded by an exposed brick façade, lending the building a tactile, earthy character that resonates with local craftsmanship and vernacular materiality. The design allocates 30% of its footprint to cultural programming and 70% to administrative functions, fostering a synergistic coexistence of creativity and governance. Artworks inspired by traditional motifs are integrated into the façade, not as ornament, but as architectural narrative, expressing identity, memory, and cultural pride.
