Kohli Residence Gurgaon, India
The house appears as a three-dimensional abstraction of interlocking geometrics. The plan too is a combination of interlocking boxes. The intersecting wall panels with cutouts facing roads serve as an opaque screen. All of the major spaces take on a dynamic quality, a complex spatiality within a discrete envelope. The design of the swimming pool is unconventional. It is a solid, monolithic hanging block.
